Сабантуй — это народный праздник татар. Его история насчитывает уже не менее тысячи лет, и переводится это слово с татарского как «праздник плуга». Традиционно Сабантуем татары отмечали окончание весенних полевых работ, используя короткую передышку перед началом летней жатвы для встречи со своими друзьями и родственниками. Современный «Праздник плуга» уже давно стал интернациональным.
Дата проведения — 18 июня 2011 года.
Место проведения — парк ЛПК Нововятского района г.Кирова.
Начало праздника в 10:00 часов.
В программе праздника:
-выступления профессиональных артистов и коллективов художественной самодеятельности;
-татарская национальная борьба «көрәш»;
-работа детских игровых площадок;
-спортивно-развлекательные и игровые состязания;
-конкурс на лучшее исполнение татарской песни;.
-конкурс стихов, посвященный 125-летию со дня рождения известного татарского поэта Габдуллы Тукая.
Новое в «Сабантуе-2011» — доставание денег из катык. Новое оформление игровых площадок.
А главное — это хорошее настроение, радость встречи со старыми друзьями и знакомство с новыми!
