Во второй половине июля в Ялте прошел двухнедельный фестиваль «Сююмбика варислары» ( «Наследники Сююмбике»).
На фестивале было заявлено около трехсот участников.Среди них были представители не только татарской молодежи Крыма, Татарстана, Москвы, многих других регионов СНГ, но и русского и украинского народов.
Попечителями фестиваля выступили министерство культуры Татарстана, а так же известные деятели крымско-татарского народа: Мустафа Джемилев, Рифат Чубаров и Сервер Какура.
Душой фестиваля, как и в прежние годы, была Гульзада Сафиуллина — народная артистка и заслуженный деятель искусств Татарстана. Главным спонсором был Исмагил Шангареев.
В завершающий день во время гала-концерта Гульзада Сафиуллина наградила победителей грамотами от министерства культуры Татарстана, а Исмагил Шангареев вручил им денежные премии.
Представители Ялтинской мэрии и Крымской администрации от души поблагодарили участников, организаторов и спонсора за выдающийся вклад в дело развития дружбы российского и украинского народов и преподнесли им памятные знаки .
