19 февраля в 13-00 на базе ЦГБ им. А.С. Пушкина (г. Киров, ул. Энгельса, 74) в рамках проекта «Со-Граждане» состоится Фестиваль родной речи «Живой дар предков», приуроченный к Международному дню родного языка.
Организатор Фестиваля – Библиотека №3 «Маяк» Центр национальных культур, ЦГБ им. А.С. Пушкина.
Главной целью Фестиваля является сохранение и развитие национальных языков, а также укрепление в обществе толерантного отношения к разнообразию национальных культур и их носителям – представителям разных национальностей.
Фестиваль – это уникальный и эффективный способ взаимодействия культур, вовлечение представителей разных национальностей в творческую работу.
К участию в Фестивале приглашаются представители национальных объединений, культурных национальных центров, общественных объединений и организаций народностей Кировской области, а так же учреждения культуры и образования города. Участники Фестиваля представят песни, расскажут стихи на родном языке, проведут мастер-классы по национальным промыслам и ремеслам.
Международный день родного языка провозглашен Генеральной конференцией ЮНЕСКО и отмечается каждый год 21 февраля с 2000 года для содействия языковому и культурному разнообразию. Сохранение и развитие языка – важнейшее политическое дело государственного, мирового масштаба. Ибо каждый язык, независимо от того, кому он принадлежит – или многочисленной нации, или малочисленному народу, этносу – это драгоценный клад, созданный тем или иным народом. Если язык функционирует, то живет и народ, который им пользуется, если исчезает язык, то исчезает и сам народ.
