В 922 году в истории татарского народа (историческое название — булгары) произошло событие, которое стало точкой отсчета нового этапа исторического пути не только татар, но и всей России. 12 мая 922 г. в присутствии посольства из Багдада от халифа-правителя правоверных, булгарских князей и большого скопления народа было возвещено всему миру, что Ислам стал государственной религией Волжской Булгарии (а мусульманами сами булгары были уже давно).
С 1989 года стало доброй традицией ежегодное посещение дорогого сердцу каждого мусульманина России места древнего города Булгары, расположенного на живописном берегу реки Камы в республике Татарстан.
Уже в течение 18 лет, каждый год, в память о наших предках-булгарах и в память о славном событии — принятии Ислама как государственной религии Волжской Булгарии, Верховный Муфтий России Талгат Таджуддин ежегодно в начале лета организует сбор-съезд татар-мусульман в этом месте.
И съезжаются туда тысячи и тысячи татар-мусульман со всех сторон нашей Родины, и даже из-за рубежа, чтобы почтить память предков, посетить славные места древних развалин и святых могил, прикоснуться к истории и совершить коллективную молитву о прощении грехов, длящуюся почти два часа, да и просто, повидаться с соплеменниками и погулять по ярмарке.
С 2006 года совершают это посещение и представители наших, вятских, краев. Под руководством Имама Нурислама хаджи Касимова делегация из татар-мусульман Кирова, Кирово-Чепецка и села Карино Слободского района на хорошем экскурсионном автобусе приезжают на историческую родину.
Вот и в этом году вся поездка была пронизана историей и религиозностью. Пока ехали туда смотрели фильмы об Исламе (в автобусе есть ЖК дисплей и DVD проигрыватель). Приехав на место, с утра попили чаю из самовара на углях и с чудесной домашней выпечкой изготовленной Чепецкими мастерицами. Далее начались мероприятия этого события: проповедь Верховного Муфтия России Талгата хазрата Таджуддина, молитва о прощении грехов под его руководством и коллективный полуденный намаз. Известно, что любая молитва, совершенная коллективно имеет наивысшую степень перед Господом. И действительно, после молитвы в теле появилась необыкновенная лёгкость и радость в сознании.
Затем, хорошенько пообедав, отправились в обратный путь. Но поездка была бы неполной если бы не было экскурсии по историческим местам в столице Татарстана — Казани. В сопровождении отличного гида-экскурсовода мы объездили всю Казань, посетили Казанский Кремль, резиденцию Президента Татарстана Шаймиева М.Ш., которого все любовно называют «наш бабай» (наш дедушка). Также посетили великолепную мечеть Кул Шариф и башню Сююмбике. И под занавес побывали в «татарской деревне» — комплексе стилизованных построек, где и музей и гостиница и блинная — всё под старину, из бревен (вятский лес, да и строили вятские мастера), с фантастической подсветкой. В общем эмоций было под самую макушку. Потом усталые, но довольные двинулись домой. А дома уже начали строить новые планы на новую поездку в следующем году.
Как говорится и себя показали и мир посмотрели.
